A non-grain high protein, low NSC feed which is fully fortified with vitamins, minerals, and probiotics. Our fortification consists only of USP Grade ingredients and amino acid chelates to ensure bioavailability and maximum purity. We also offer a Hi-Pro PlusTM without added calcium† to accommodate those horses drinking hard water.
†NOTE:
The harder the water, the more calcium that is contained in it, and the more necessity there is to adjust the mineral ratios in the feed. An excess of calcium can cause deficiencies of magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, and other essential minerals. Vita Royal is the only company that accommodates the various needs of horses in different living conditions.
Feeding Instructions:
Feed 2 to 3.5 lbs. per day per 1000 lbs. body weight, with grass hay only. Add water to make a granola like consistency before feeding. Best amount is 1/2 the amount of water as that of Hi-Pro PlusTM feed.
Normally you will need to reduce your hay amounts to control the carbohydrates and weight gain, as the improved nutrition of Hi-Pro PlusTM will aid in the efficiency of digestion of hay. For special circumstances, consult our biochemist.

Hi-Pro ULTRATM
"The Rescue Feed"
Hi-Pro ULTRATM is perfect for the horse in the active inflammatory states of laminitis, founder, Cushing's, insulin resistance, EMS (equine metabolic syndrome), autoimmune syndromes, edema, cresty neck, hives, respiratory distress, EPM, seizures or other neurological or toxicity syndromes.

Feeding Instructions:
Feed 2 to 3.5 lbs. per day per 1000 lbs. body weight. in divided feedings. Add water to blend before feeding. Feed with limited amounts of grass hay only. Best amount of water to add is 1/2 of amount of Hi-Pro ULTRATM feed.
If ulcers, GI disturbance or Leaky Gut are suspected, best results will be had adding Nutrient Buffer® with Hi-Pro ULTRATM for the first 3 weeks to help heal. You will need 1 gallon Nutrient Buffer®. After the horse is stabilized, one of the Hi-Pro PlusTM formulas may be used for maintenance.
