Too many people think their diet is just fine and couldn't possibly be contributing to their greater health problems. Unfortunately, all calories are not created equal, and our poor population health statistics nationwide demonstrate that.
The Need to Avoid Heavily Processed Foods, Which Almost Always Contain:
• Huge Concentrations of Fillers
• Plasticizers
• Artificial Colors
• Artificial Flavors
• Chemical Preservatives
• Detergent Residues
• Pesticide Residues
• Fungicide Residues
• Excessive Gluten Concentrations
• Excessive Carbohydrate Concentrations
• Poor Quality Fats
• Hardly-Existent Amounts of (and Poor Quality) Protein
Avoid Hazardous Household Chemicals:
Chemical cleaners contain compounds that are totally foreign to the ecosystem that human beings evolved to depend on. When you breath the odor and/or let any amount soak into your skin, you can't help but add to your total toxic body burden. Mammalian genetics have very limited ability to metabolize man-made chemicals that are completely foreign to the ecosystem.
You Will Need:
• An open mind
• Willingness to change your lifestyle and diet
Plasticizers in Our Food Supply
There is no such thing as food-grade plastic as we once dreamed about back in the 1950's. We now know that every petroleum based plastic is laden with xenoestrogenic carcinogens called plasticizers, which makes the material soft and bendable. Plasticizers could be likened to synthetic water molecules for ease of understanding.
When we microwave our food in plastic, the water molecules vibrate creating heat and vapor. Plasticizers do the exact same thing. Most of the Plasticizers that are able to exit the plastic base material, end up infusing into the food along with the water molecules.
Plasticizers behave as estrogens in the body, however they mutate the receptors that the natural estrogens are supposed to fit into, and degrade the body's ability to process estrogens in general. Moreover, every xenoestrogen known to man, is a well-recognised carcinogen.
A Couple Rules of Thumb
• Don't ever buy anything at a convenience store besides fuel for your car.
• If it's bright and colorful non-food byproducts dressed up to look and taste like real food, retrain your brain to find it unattractive.
